    AI Beyond the Pilot: Building Companies That Operate at Machine Speed

    I rebuilt my own company's operations around agentic systems, function by function, usually after something had already broken. Some of it worked. Some failed in ways that were expensive and instructive. This talk covers what genuinely changes when a company is designed for machine speed rather than given a chat interface, where the data has to be before any of it works, and where human judgment stays non-negotiable.

    Intelligence Is a System, Not a Report

    The decisions that matter in energy and capital rest on asset, production and market data that usually lives in different departments and different formats. I have built the pipelines and databases that join them for investment and operating teams. This talk is about what changes when the decision picture is current by default, what a dashboard leaves out for the people who have to act on it, and how to design intelligence around the decision instead of the data.

    Energy Is Becoming Compute Infrastructure

    Converting energy into compute is the question I work on from Alberta. This talk maps what has to align across generation, grid, policy, public support and capital for a compute opportunity to be real, and what an operator, a developer or a government can do about each of those pieces.
